Tuesday Evening

We had what the hotel call their Gala Night.  The resident duo, Forster Acoustic (https://www.facebook.com/forsteracoustic?fref=ts) aka Sally Carr and Graham Forster who are very good, performed as they almost always do, as a warm up act.

We then had a cruise ship style introduction to the manager (who went round afterwards talking to about a third of the customers) and his staff who number 250 in all.  This ended with a free glass of bubbly for all plus some tasty canapes and fireworks.

The final part of the evening was another tribute act - the Golden Tones,, who started off out of tune and out of time but who rapidly got better ....
