Breakfast across the street

Across the road are the Imperial Residences, a sister hotel and we can have breakfast there if we choose.

Unfortunately it has taken us until Wednesday to do that and we realise what we've been missing!

The service is almost at butler level and you can leave your seat and go for a dip in the adjacent rooftop pool - just like that.

Does it get much better than this?

Do I sense a new Facebook profile picture of my wife coming on here??!!

Latest information on the situation in Greece

The Eurozone has announced it has reached a deal to ensure Greece remains a member of the European currency union.

Thomson and First Choice are continuing to work closely with our resort teams in Greece and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) to monitor the situation.

For holidaymakers, Greece remains a really popular destination and we currently have thousands of customers in Greece enjoying their break and making the most of this fantastic country. Thomson and First Choice customers also have the added peace of mind that everything is taken care of with our holidays, including flights, hotels, airport transfers and a dedicated in-resort team to offer any support needed.

Customers planning a holiday in Greece should be assured that ATMs are working and cards issued outside of Greece are unaffected by temporary restrictions on withdrawal amounts. In line with FCO advice, and as a precautionary measure, we recommend customers have more than one payment method and take extra Euros with them to cover the duration of their holiday.

We’d like to remind customers, as we do for all destinations that we operate to, to ensure they keep their money safe and have a valid travel insurance policy in place.
